We are active participants in the quality of life in our community.  The project below is an action we have initiated.

The English Double-Decker Bus

It's Alive!

Purchased decades ago by Richmond Mayor Frank Walterman, the bus was leased to the
Wayne County Tourism Center for 99 years.  I was told about the bus at an informal meeting of
downtown merchants, and found the bus stored on a back lot of Tom Raper's RV center.
After telling a number of local people about the bus,
Roger Richert jumped at the opportunity
to repair and restore the bus as a means of creative city promotion, and in cooperation with
Mary Walker of W.C. Tourism, had the bus towed to Studebaker's shop on Main Street where
mechanics have brought it back to life.

Now that it is running....  does anyone know how to transform it into a vegetable oil vehicle?
